Topping out ceremony at the gasometer cupola
With a little topping out ceremony on the 6th of April 2009 the EUREF reached a new development phase. About 200 friends and sponsors have visited this event to celebrate the temporary completion of a new, sensational event location together with the construction worker. New is not only the Reichstag cupola design, which used to be the Bundestagsarena during the football World Cup 2006 - it’s rather new, where it’s located. The nearly 100 years old Gasomter in Berlin Schöneberg.
From now on this location can be visited from up to 800 visitors for events of all kinds - with a thing for the topic energy.
The remake of the Foster cupola will go as an event location until the planned congresshall has been built into the gasometer.
