History
Already in 1825 the british company
„Imperial Continental Gas Association“ built the first gasplant in Berlin.
In 1853 they started the public gas-
lightening.
In 1910 there were originally four gasstorages built in this area. The one which was built at last, the "Schöneberger Gasometer", will in the future be the centre of the European Energy Forum EUREF.
